A Noteworthy Find

I'm always excited when I find a new blog to add to my daily reading list. So imagine my delight when a blog called Big Bang Studio that features not only travel and cooking (but corgis too!) was passed along to me. It's a real treasure trove of recipes, general musings, and beautiful photos taken by the blog's creator Lily Stockman. Lily's had quite the life for a 28-year-old. After attending Harvard's Visual & Environmental Studies department she travleled to Mongolia to shoot a documentary, followed that excursion to New York at ABC News desk in New York, left that job for Joshua Tree to pursue her painting, journeyed to Jaipur, India with her husband for a year, and has now recently returned stateside. Whew!

A Noteworthy Find

One of my absolute favorite bloggers, who helms the site A Lovely Being, recently started a self-titled tumblr chock-full of fantastic photos of everything from old Hollywood starlets to envy-inducing interiors. Here are a few of my favorites so far...

Travel Tuesday: The Charms of Switzerland

I'm completely charmed by House to Haus' daily depictions of her new life in Switzerland. An expat living in Zurich, Talley posts about her jaunts to surrounding ski areas, blunders in the kitchen when certain ingredients got lost in translation, and all the daily surprises that await in a new city. Below are a small sampling of the fantastic collection of photographs featured on the blog.

Side Note: If you're looking for yet another blog with beautiful recipes and photos, then add this to your list. Seriously.

Show Me Something Pretty

I can take no credit for this find (that honor goes to Patterson Maker), but I am glad I stumbled on her blog to discover Melanie Acevedo's delightful photos. The Parsons Paris School of Art and Design graduate photographs interiors, people, and places. They have me wanting nothing more than to wander the world until I find scenes as beautiful as these. Take a look!
