For one of my favorite style star's birthdays, I thought I'd do a post of her finest red carpet and street style looks. I would kill for her closet. At the same time, I know that I would never be able to put together outfits the way she does. So maybe I'd settle for her fabulously tousled blonde locks instead!

Street Smarts

Vogue recently highlighted Phil Oh's photographs of the glamorous comings and goings of fashion shows this past year. Couture is beautiful of course, but sometimes its the street style that surrounds the event that wins the prize for most fashionable. Below are a few of my favorites, starting with my personal favorite one: the showstopping combination of bold stripes and legs that go for days.

Most Wanted: Brazilian Style

Bikinis and beaches. Carnival and caipirinhas. What's not to love about Brazil? For anyone who needs convincing, take a look at Assouline's latest gorgeous tome. Named simply Brazilian Style, it's a beautiful book filled with photographs of all things Brazil taken by W magazine editor Armand Limnader. Yes, Gisele is featured (it would be almost sacrosanct for her not to be), but so are the lesser known gems of the country. Yet another book to add to my growing wish list...
