What's In Your Closet?

I know I'm way behind the times and that these photos have been all over the blog world as of late, but I still thought I'd post these images from The Coveteur. If you're not familiar with the blog, every week its editors pick a tastemaker's closet and artfully arrange its contents. Last week's featured Deborah Lloyd (Creative Director of Kate Spade.) As you would expect with an anyone associated with Kate Spade, there's plenty of pink, sparkle, and stripes. But what I love is the juxtaposition: owls and leopard flats, ikat pillows and stuffed birds... Makes me wonder what the girls at The Coveteur would do with my closet!

A Noteworthy Find

I'm always excited when I find a new blog to add to my daily reading list. So imagine my delight when a blog called Big Bang Studio that features not only travel and cooking (but corgis too!) was passed along to me. It's a real treasure trove of recipes, general musings, and beautiful photos taken by the blog's creator Lily Stockman. Lily's had quite the life for a 28-year-old. After attending Harvard's Visual & Environmental Studies department she travleled to Mongolia to shoot a documentary, followed that excursion to New York at ABC News desk in New York, left that job for Joshua Tree to pursue her painting, journeyed to Jaipur, India with her husband for a year, and has now recently returned stateside. Whew!

Poolside with Aman

Sorry for the travel overload, but after stumbling upon a picture of the amazing pool at the Aman resort in Utah, I spent more than a few minutes on the Aman website and couldn't not share what else I found. Maybe next week's obsession will be baking, but for now soak up all this wonderful poolside deliciousness!

The Wanderlust Continues

Considering blogger Haleigh's bucket list includes lounging in the sun at Croatia's Bonj Les Bains, I'm thinking about asking her to send me a photocopy of that sure to be decadent list. She photographed her recent time there, and between the all white linens, aquamarine color of the water, and the poolside treats, I'm completely smitten. Take a look below!
